Memory Lane!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together.  It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!  (Ade or Josh)

2.  Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.  It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.  If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.  If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

EVERYBODY PLAY!  I want to see what memories are out there!

I already posted this on Katie's blog but it was a fun memory with you. We would blast the song, "Total Eclipse of the Heart" on the radio and sing it together while we drove around town.

I also remember making paper fans and picking leaves out of trees and we tried to sell them at your house to the people who walked by, one lady did buy from us.

I have many fun memories with you. I always had fun spending the night at your home, driving with you to piano lessons, and watching you overnight. I am not sure if you remember this, but one night I was watching you there was a mouse in the house and I was up on your couch screaming until my Dad came over to get it. Ha

What a fun post.

My memory of you was our second get together. Lunch the next day at Bluebird. THAT was awkward. Haha! We've come a long way...we are both very outgoing but shy with new people-at least I am. I'm glad things aren't like that anymore!!! :)

Julie, I could write a novel of my memories of you. My favorite is how happy you always were when you would wake up in the mornings as a toddler. You could hardly keep those big blue eyes open, yet your little mouth would be smiling away with your excitement over a new day. I loved your curly golden hair. People would always stop me in the store and tell me you looked like a little doll you could buy at Pennys. Do you remember when we used to IM when you were at San Diego State? I loved those little written coversations we would have. I also loved the special time we had together just before I moved to Phoenix. It was so fun to have you and Ava stay with me. We had so much fun watching the little faces that Ava would make! I loved our long talks. I have always loved being your mom. It is one of the greatest joys in my life!

So I also loved those summers I got to spend in Cali. It ws so fun for me to get to know you better. Remember when someone convinced us we could get a moon burn. I also remember the time we were driving somewhere and we were about out of gas so I would turn the car off at every stoplight. I also remember when I backed out of the garage and took off the rear viewe mirror. Man your parents sure put up with a lot from me. I always loved spending time with you

When me and Katie told you that we thought the lead singer from Queen was sooooo HOT, and you hesitantly believed us (as a what, 8 year old?). We must have been the most retarded older sisters you could have ever imagined.

How about our chocolate cake fight with my easy bake oven!
Or, the little kitchen fire and you grabbing KC in his high chair and running down the stairs!

Cranberry and OJ tea parties with Grandma's pretty little goblets.

Do you remember dancing/lip syncing to the song, "Now I've Had The Time Of My Life" from the Dirty dancing movie? And the song we wrote and performed for the family at Christmas time?

I sometimes wish we could be little again! We really had a ball!

i have so many fun memories with you -- mostly ones of you making me laugh so hard! for some reason i totally remember sitting at your dad's office and you introduced me to "it's your love" by tim and faith and i listened to that song probably 8 million times in the next couple of months. i guess i should blame you for the addiction! i still love that song to this day!

Oh my gosh julie, seriously. I could write a book on our memories. Remember we used to drive the golf cart around in WestPort ( I would collect the frogs from the drains. The tiny ones) Then one time you and I sang and dance to Garth Brooks "Two of a Kind" and we performed it for your mom in her room. I can invision us doing so many things. I have known you FOREVER.

Hmmmmm, I think one that sticks out in my mind is decorating sugar cookies with you and Katie and all the kiddos. It was so much fun for us and the kids and you make THE best sugar cookies and frosting!!! Also the times when I would come downstairs and we would just sit and chat or watch Greys. I also thought of the time recently when we had a GNO and went to IKEA and you sat down on the display bed and it broke. LOL!!! You always can make me laugh.

Julie I have two special memories that immediately come to mind. The first one is having you in Relief Society. You brought a sweet spirit to our meetings and I always knew that you had a strong testimony.
The other memory I have thought of many times in the past few days as we have watched the Olympics. It was watching you swim the IAM. I was amazed that anyone could swim for that long, without drowning, at your age. That day I really saw how strong you are.
